Denali Detox is the long standing licensed Detox Unit of our Recovery Ways location in Salt Lake City, UT.  The same Medical Director and supporting medical team that have overseen our patients at Recovery Ways have also overseen our internal detox unit located on site.  We take pride in providing a safe and comfortable option for those looking for a smaller more personalized detox experience in Utah.  Our medical team has Decades of current medical experience specific to treating addiction in the detox setting and are able to competently manage the process to maximize both safety and comfort for our patients .

Some of the highlights to our detox program include:

• Our detox is Joint Commission Accredited 

• Our detox patients are monitored and managed by a licensed medical team daily

• A registered nurse (RN) is always located near our patients on site 24 hrs a day

• Ongoing evidenced base up to date protocol as it pertains to the assessment of patients in real time, every couple of hours to determine our detox patients current risk and response to treatment

• Current gold standard in medication to increase comfort and mitigate risk

• Get their brain right and thoughts back to make the best decision as it pertains to the next level of treatment

• In addition to the medical aspects of the detox, as appropriate the majority of our patients are able to receive a psych eval that serves to aid in their recovery process

• Anti-depressants and anti-psychotics are able to be started ahead of time

• Ability to do IV intervention with specific medications when necessary

• Our Detox is conveniently located within 2 miles of a Trauma1medical center 

• Charting info can be communicated to other providers and hospital systems when requested by our patients

• Decades of current medical experience specific to treating addiction in the detox setting
